Hi there,
Could anyone point me to somewhere where I can find a typical amplitude of a
pulse-echo sensor please? I'm doing a research degree in NDE coupled with
artificial neural networks for defect detection and classification, but am
having a bit of trouble with a FE model. Whatever kind of signal I apply to
the model, I can't seem to get a response that looks much like what one
would expect from a normal A-scan.
If anyone's had any experience in this or is involved in similar
work/research, please feel free to get in touch with me.
At the moment I'm modelling the pulse as a single sinusoidal function (1
period) with an amplitude of 10MPa and a frequency of 250MHz. Anyone got any
better advice on this?!!!
Many thanks,
Simon Farley
